Jamesburg library offers amnesty
The Jamesburg Public Library, 229 Gatzmer Ave., announced that the week of Jan. 2-8 will be a week of amnesty for overdue fines on returned books, CDs and DVDs. No charges will be levied on overdue items. Patrons are invited to start the year off debt free at the library.

Blood drive planned for Jan. 8 at church
St. Thomas the Apostle Church, in cooperation with Knights of Columbus Council No. 4815, will hold a Winter Blood Drive 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Jan. 8 in the parish auditorium, Route 18 south, Old Bridge. Donors must be between the ages of 16 and 75, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in reasonably good health.
