  • St. Francis Lenten series to meet each Thursday

    The Most Rev. Edward T. Hughes, bishop emeritus of the Diocese of Metuchen, will conduct a six-part Lenten series on the Thursdays of Lent at St. Francis Cathedral, 32 Elm Ave., Metuchen. Hughes will be celebrant and homilist at the 12:10 p.m. Mass. Theme is “The Eucharist.” All are welcome.

    The Metuchen Police Department is now taking applications for substitute school crossing guards. Full-time shifts are three hours, part time is as needed.
