Homestead Rebates ready for seniors, disabled
New Jersey homeowners who are 65 years of age or are blind or disabled as of Dec. 31, 2008, will begin receiving their 2008 Homestead Rebate application packets this week. The applications must be filed by June 21 by calling 1-877-658-2972 or online at www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation. Rebate checks should be received around July 31.
