Police Sgt. Robert Flaherty’s retirement from the township force was accepted by the Township Committee on March 12. The retirement of Sgt. Flaherty, whose served 25 years in the township, was effective Feb. 1. Police Chief Paul Kaminsky said the department was in the process of replacing him.
