S.B. resident receives Schauer Scholarship
Timothy Von Thun, of Monmouth Junction, received the Bill Schauer Scholarship from the Freehold Soil Conservation District, in honor of Schauer, who spent years dedicated to conservation efforts through the district. Von Thun is a junior at the University of Maryland, majoring in agricultural science and technology. The scholarship is worth $2,000.
