Dowdell Library accepting DVDs, CDs
The Sadie Pope Dowdell Library Foundation is collecting unwanted DVDs, Blu- Ray discs, CDs and video games. VHS tapes will not be accepted. Collection boxes are located at the South Amboy YMCA, 200 John T. O’Leary Blvd.; Madura Pharmacy, 115 North Broadway St.; and at the library, located at 100 Governor Hoffman Plaza.

Author, psychologist will hold book signing
Dr. Michael G. Kesler, author of “Hurdles: When Cancer Strikes a Family,” will hold a book signing 2-4 p.m. Jan. 12 at the East Brunswick Library, Civic Center Drive.
