EAST BRUNSWICK–Assemblywoman and East Brunswick resident Nancy Pinkin has won 223,186 votes, making her Middlesex County’s newest clerk. Republican and South Plainfield Councilman Joseph Wolak won 135,302 votes. SOUTH RIVER–Republican Councilman James Gurchensky and Democrat Julie Meira have won the two open seats on the South River Borough Council. Gurchensky won 3,054 votes and Meira won 3,051 of the votes.
