‘Spring Craft Show’

coming to St. Thomas

St. Thomas the Apostle HSA will sponsor a "Spring Craft Show" on March 11. The event, which will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the school auditorium, Route 18 south, Old Bridge, and will feature a bake sale, 50/50 raffle and refreshments. Admission is free. March 11 ‘Blini Dinner’

St. Euphrosynia Church, South River, will hold a "Blini Dinner" from 4-8 p.m. on March 11 at the Belarussian-American Community Center, South Whitehead Avenue, South River. offer ‘Torathon 2000’

Congregation Beth Ohr, 70 Route 516, Old Bridge, will hold "Torathon 2000" from 8-11:30 p.m. on March 11. The evening will feature Torah study with area rabbis and educators from across the religious spectrum. Keynote speaker will be Rabbi Yakov Hilsenrath, rabbi emeritus, Highland Park Conservative Temple and Center. The program is free of charge. Refreshments will be served. host March 10 fish fry

St. Stan’s HSA will hold a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. on March 10 in the school cafeteria, 221 MacArthur Ave., Sayreville. Takeout will be available. Flounder dinners cost $8 for adults, $5 for children. Homemade haluski, macaroni and cheese, and mozzarella sticks will be available. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the door. Arthritis support group

will meet on March 11

‘Cedar Swamp Hike’

slated at Cheesequake

A "Cedar Swamp Hike" program will begin at 11 a.m. on March 12 at the Cheesequake State Park Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road, Old Bridge. Participants will take a one-hour hike through the Atlantic White Cedar Swamp and discuss its ecology and history. The program is open to all ages. tickets to Devils game

The Sayreville War Memorial High School Band Parents Association is selling tickets to the New Jersey Devils vs. Buffalo Sabres hockey game, set for 7:35 p.m. April 6 in the Continental Airlines Arena, East Rutherford. Women’s health talk

slated for March 15

Joyce A. Venis, R.N.C., women’s health expert and president of Depression After Delivery Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to spreading universal awareness of mood and anxiety disorders surrounding pregnancy and childbirth, will lead a March 15 open discussion on women’s health issues and concerns. Hospital to present

osteoporosis program

St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick, will present an osteoporosis community education program on March 23. "Osteoporosis: Are You At Risk?" will take place from 6-8 p.m. in the hospital’s Sister Marie de Pazzi Conference Center, Room 1, 254 Easton Ave. Registration is required by March 17.
