Local Democratic association to meet The Western Monmouth Democratic Association will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. March 16 at the American Legion, 162 W. Main St., Freehold. Fresh Air Fund is in need of host families The Fresh Air Fund is seeking Mon-mouth County volunteers to open their hearts and homes this summer to a child between the ages of 6-12. Each summer, thousands of volunteer host families in 13 Northeastern states and Canada provide free summer vacations to needy New York City children. Fresh Air hosts are young families, single professionals, empty-nesters and grandparents. Fresh Air children on first-time visits to host families stay for two weeks; reinvited youngsters may continue with the program through age 18.
