N.B. seniors host many activities this month

The North Brunswick Seniors will hold many events this month. These events include the following: exercise, every Monday at 10 a.m.; bridge club every Tuesday at 10 a.m.; reminiscent group, every Tuesday at 11 a.m.; swim/aquacise, Mondays and Tuesdays, noon-1 p.m.; line dancing, every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., no partner required; wood carving, every Thursday at 9 a.m., some material fees may be required; senior walkers, meets at 9 a.m. on Thursdays at the senior center, sign up at Department of Health and Services; lunch and learn, Friday, March 24 at noon; movie and popcorn, March 17 at noon showing Runaway Bride, with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere; book discussion, Tuesday March 21, meet at the library, sign up at the office.

Auditions set for March 19 at Repertory Theatre

The New Jersey Repertory Theatre, Livingston Avenue, North Brunswick, will be holding auditions on March 19 at 4 p.m. for its traveling performance troupe at Linwood Middle School in North Brunswick.

This troupe will perform at various locations throughout the year including EuroDisney and Paris, France in July.

All those auditioning should be prepared to sing a portion of a Broadway show tune or Disney song. Also, a dance combination will be taught. Dress comfortably.

Church plans talks on the multicultural family

The Princeton Baptist Church will hold a free workshop on "Christ and the Multicultural Family," held on four consecutive Tuesdays, March 21-April 11.

This workshop seeks to strengthen multicultural relationships. Married couples, those dating, those with multicultural ancestry, parents of biracial children, parents of transracially-adopted children, and all others are encouraged to attend. Get a chance to talk and learn how faith is instrumental in building relationships.

Meetings will be held 7:30-8:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. There will be no child care offered at this hour.

Topics are as follows: March 21, "Christ and the Multicultural Family: Making New Friends"; March 28, "Christ and the Multicultural Family: Using Faith and Love to Reinforce Your Relationship"; April 4, Christ and the Multicultural Family: Raising Children to Respect Differences"; and April 11, "Christ and the Multicultural Family: Finding a Spiritual Home."

All faiths are welcome. Participants will have an opportunity to meet and chat with people in their area.

The meetings will be held at the Christian Education Building, behind Princeton Baptist Church on Route 1 north and Washington Road (Route 571) in Princeton.
