Indian Hill School to host Career Day

Indian Hill Elementary School, Holmdel, will be hosting its Career Day March 23. More than 20 parents have volunteered to teach about their professions. Each parent is given a 45-minute time frame in which to make a presentation. Career Day will run the length of the school day, 8:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Holmdel First Aid Aux. meeting set for March 23

The Holmdel First Aid Auxiliary will hold its regular March monthly meeting on March 23 at 7:45 p.m. in the First Aid Building on Crawfords Corner Road, next to the post office. St. Joseph’s to hold fish fry March 24

The St. Joseph School PTA will sponsor a fish fry on March 24 from 6-8 p.m. in the school cafeteria. Eat-in or take-out dinner menu will includes fish and chips and coleslaw (prepared Scottish style by Aitkens of Brick). Macaroni and cheese and other items will be available. Ladies Auxiliary plans bus trip to Atlantic City

Lincoln Hose Ladies Auxiliary, Keyport, is planning a bus trip to Atlantic City on April 2. The bus will depart from the firehouse, 162 Second St., Keyport, at 1 p.m. and will leave the casino at 8 p.m.

Shalom Sisterhood to hold seder on April 9

The Sisterhood of Temple Shalom, Aberdeen, will hold its second annual Inclusive Community Feminist Seder on April 9 at 4 p.m. at the temple.

The seder will feature the use of the Ma’Yan Passover Haggadah which incorporates questions posed by daughters as well as sons. It includes symbols, stories and midrash created by women, as well as more familiar texts. Knowledge of Hebrew is not necessary. Women, men and children are invited to this event which is open to the entire community.

The cost for the seder, which includes dinner and a Ma’Yan Passover Haggadah, is $25 for adults, and $18 for students and senior citizens. Participants can select a chicken or vegetarian meal. Reservations are required. For additional information call (732) 566-2621.

In addition, the Sisterhood is requesting that guests bring a kosher or Passover food, or beauty care item for the needy.
