E.B. adult education panel to hold meeting

The East Brunswick Adult and Community Education Advisory Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. on May 3 in the faculty dining room at East Brunswick High School, Cranbury Road. The public is invited.

S.R. Historical Society schedules church tour

The South River Historical and Preservation Society will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on April 26 at the Old School Baptist Church Museum, 64-66 Main St. The museum is open to the public from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on the first Sunday of every month. The next tour is set for May 7.

Tricky tray planned for May 12 at Moose lodge

The South River Loyal Order of Moose will hold a tricky tray on May 12 at the Moose lodge, 49 Reid St. Doors will open at 6 p.m.; the event will begin at 8 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. For information, call Rich Schaible at (732) 238-5054.

Basketball booster club schedules golf outing

The East Brunswick High School Boys and Girls Basketball Booster Club will hold its second annual golf outing on June 26 at Bunker Hill Golf Course, Griggstown section of Franklin. Cost is $80 and includes golf, cart and food. The event will feature prizes in several categories and random prize drawings. Hole sponsors or donations are welcome. ‘Klown Kar Warsh’ coming to Jamesburg

The Fools For Christ clown group of the Presbyterian Church of Jamesburg will present a "Klown Kar Warsh" on May 13. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (rain or shine) at the church, corner of Gatzmer Avenue and Church Street. Cost is $5 per car. Hot dogs and soda will be available. Healing prayer group will meet in Spotswood

A spiritual and bodily healing prayer group meets on the first Monday of every month under the leadership of the Rev. Robert Skinner at Spotswood Reformed Church, 429 Main St. The next meeting is set for May 1. Individuals who would like to have their names added to the prayer list are asked to write a brief note and bring it to the church or call (732) 251-9277 and leave a message for "Healing Service." New prayer group members are welcome.
