The Monmouth County Park System will hold its 15th annual Sunrise Run-Bike-Run at Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, Long Branch, at 8 a.m. on May 7. The event consists of a 3-mile out-and-back run along the Long Branch boardwalk, a 16-mile round trip from the boardwalk to Sandy Hook, and a repeat of the first run.

The registration fee is $40 and entries will be accepted from 10 a.m. to noon on May 6 at the Pavilion at Seven Presidents, but the fee will be $40. No race-day entries will be permitted. The American Red Cross, Jersey Coast Chapter, will hold is eighth annual Golf Classic at Metedeconk National Golf Course, Jackson, on May 1.

Tryouts for the Midget team will be held 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. on May 10 and 11.

The Jersey Shore Baseball Academy, in conjunction with the Middletown Babe Ruth League, the Hazlet Youth Athletic League and the Holmdel Youth Athletic Association, will conduct a series of baseball and softball camps this summer.

Camps will be held at McMahon Field in Middletown June 26-30, July 3-7, July 10-14, July 17-21, July 24-28 and July 31-Aug. 4.

Camps will be held at the HYAL field in Hazlet Aug. 7-11 and Aug. 14-18, and at the Village School in Holmdel July 17-21.

All camps run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the fee is $90 per child.
