Betty Ruth DiGaudio Vitanzo, 67

   Betty Ruth DiGaudio Vitanzo, 67, of Monroe died June 15 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.
   She was born in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and lived in Carteret before moving to Monroe five years ago.
   She was employed as an assembler for RCA Corp., Harrison, for 15 years until 1963.
   Her husband, Gerard P. Vitanzo, died in February 2000. Her father, Vincent DiGaudio, died in 1983. She was also predeceased by a brother, Anthony DiGaudio.
   She is survived by a daughter, Laura Vitanzo of Carteret; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gerard P and Maureen Vitanzo Jr. and of Ocean Gate, and Joseph Vincent Vitanzo of New Brunswick; her mother, Ruth Cota DiGaudio of Carteret; a sister, Claire DiGaudio of Somerset; four brothers, James, Robert, and Frank, all of Carteret, and William DiGaudio of Perth Amboy, and several Nieces and nephews. Services took place at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home. Cremation will be private. Donations may be made to The American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 9669, Washington, DC 20090.
