Registration is still being accepted for a fishing derby set for 9 a.m. to noon on Aug. 1 at Molders Fish Farm, John Wall Road, Monroe.
The derby is open to Monroe residents only. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Hooks, worms, bobbers and refreshments will be supplied. Participants should bring their own fishing pole.
Prizes will be awarded.
