Blood drive scheduled
for Aug. 5 at St. Thomas
St. Thomas the Apostle Church, in cooperation with Knights of Columbus Council No. 4815, will hold a summer blood drive from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Aug. 5 in the parish auditorium, Route 18 south, Old Bridge. Donors must be between the ages of 18 and 75, weigh at least 100 pounds and be in reasonably good health.

Vendors are sought for the fifth annual Old Bridge Day celebration set for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 7 at the municipal complex, Route 516 and Cottrell Road. Rain date is Oct. 8. For more information and an application, call (732) 607-7940.
‘Turtle Tales’ program
set at Cheesequake Park
A "Turtle Tales" program will begin at 1 p.m. on Aug. 6 at the Cheesequake State Park Interpretive Center, 300 Gordon Road, Old Bridge. Participants will meet and greet several species of turtles, read a short turtle book and view a turtle race. The program is open to all ages. How I Survived High School, a real-life musical experience written by Elliot Taubenslag, will be presented at 8 p.m. on Aug. 11 and 12 at Playhouse 22, 210 Dunhams Corner Road, East Brunswick.
