The Junior League of Monmouth County, Rumson, will hold a fund-raiser, "Kit’s Care & Share Party – An American Girl Event," Oct. 13 at 7 p.m.; and Oct. 14 at noon and 3 p.m.
The event will be held at the First Presbyterian Church at Red Bank, Harding Road. Cost is $20 per person and raffle tickets are available for $2. Cost includes refreshments, a video, a "Memory Book," activities, and a raffle for products and accessories from the "Kit" collection.
Proceeds benefit the league’s various community programs. Girls are asked to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. "Care & Share" baskets will be created by attendees to be donated to hospitals, nursing homes and other institutions.
