HILLSBOROUGH Arnold Richard Vogel died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2000, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. He was 57.
Born in Plainfield, he grew up in Garwood and Kenilworth and lived in Piscataway prior to moving to Hillsborough in 1976.
He was in industrial sales for 20 years until 1988 when he became a real estate broker with Merrill Lynch, Century 21 and Re-Max. A consistent New Jersey Association if Realtors "Million Dollar Sales Producer" since 1990, Mr. Vogel was a member and formerly on the Board of Directors of the Hunterdon/Somerset Association of Realtors, and a member of the Somerset County Board of Realtors, of which he had been chairman since 1997.
Surviving are his son, Christopher of Hillsborough; his daughter, Audra Jane Vogel of Hillsborough; sisters, Arlene Roman of Kenilworth and Charlene Southard of Monroe, Conn.; one grandchild; and a lifelong friend, Nancy L. Vogel.
A memorial service was held Dec. 27 at the Hillsborough Funeral Home, Hillsborough.
