The Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, will host the Northeast Conference Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments March 3-5. The road to the NCAA tournament will begin for the winner of the NEC tournament. Monmouth University, West Long Branch, is among the teams from the NEC that will be taking aim at an automatic NCAA bid.
The tournament begins with quarterfinal action in both the men’s and women’s tournament on March 3 at 9:45 a.m. with the final game tipping off at 9 p.m. The semi-finals are March 4, starting at noon with the finals on March 5 with the women’s title game at 5 p.m. and the men’s championship at 9:30 p.m.
General admission tickets are $15; with student I.D. and seniors $9, children under 12 and groups (10 or more) $8.
