The Monroe Township Recreation Department and the Mighty Oak Players will sponsor a 10-week children’s theater workshop from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Saturdays beginning Feb. 24 at the Monroe Township Community Center, 120 Monmouth Road. The program is open to youngsters in third-sixth grades.
During the workshop students will create a play inspired by existing text or their own ideas. Participants will select a theme for development into an original script. There will be a production at the conclusion of the workshop. Fee is $75. Call (732) 723-5000.
