ArtMusic Coffeehouses Aug. 11 and Sept. 8
The American Legion Post No. 459, 1015 Linwood Place, North Brunswick, will hold an "ArtMusic Coffeehouse" Aug. 11 at 8 p.m. Featured will be folk musicians Luke Brindley and Ken Galipeau, who will sing and recite poetry.
A coffeehouse is also scheduled for Sept. 8 at 8 p.m. Folk artists Andy and Denise, and folk and rock singer Jeff Penque will perform. Both events are hosted by musician Don Slepian, and admission to either is $10. For more information, call (908) 437-0215.
Meeting time changed, club to hold celebration
The North Brunswick Public Library’s board of trustees will hold its regular meeting on Aug. 15 at 7 p.m., not 7:30 p.m., in the library’s conference room.
The library will complete its "2001: A Reading Odyssey" summer reading club with a celebration on Aug. 16 at 1:30 p.m. Club members can attend a live performance of Pinocchio by Duet Productions, and refreshments will be served after the show. Club members will also receive reading logs and award certificates.

N.B. seeks volunteers, Wall of Fame families
The North Brunswick school district is seeking residents to volunteer their expertise and experiences for the second edition of the Classroom Plus directory of classroom speakers.
The North Brunswick High School social studies department is trying to locate the families of Edna Van Hise, Alberta Hegedus, Helen Livingston and Harriet Keri, to notify them the aforementioned will be inducted into the high school’s Women’s Wall of Fame.
