   FLORENCE — George E. Lucas, 90, died Aug. 4 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township.
   Born in Moundsville, W. Va., he was a longtime Baltimore resident before moving to Burlington County 14 years ago.
   He was a coal miner and later a painter.
   Husband of the late Louellen Sipes Lucas, he is survived by four sons, David of Hagerstown, Md., Frank and John of Roebling and Nathan of Norristown, Pa.; three daughters, Bernice Black of Riverside, Margaret McCauley of Roebling and Peggy Sipes of Baltimore; 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
   Memorial service was held at Dennison Funeral Home, Florence.
   Burial was private.
   There were no calling hours.
Irene Kaczorowski

   RIVERSIDE — Irene Kaczorowski, of Riverside died Aug. 7 in Marcella Center, Burlington Township.
   Mrs. Kaczorowski was born in Roebling, the daughter of the late Louis and Julia Gonczi Burkus.
   Mrs. Kaczorowski resided in Riverside since 1962. She was wife of the late Anthony Doublisky and William R. Kaczorowski.
   She was a member of Willitts Hogan Tonne American Legion, Unit 39, Roebling, Riverfront Chapter of Deborah Heart and Lung Center, Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, St. Casimer’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverside.
   She is survived by a sister, Julia Zimmerman of Roebling; many nieces and nephews and a special friend, John Jankowski of Riverside.
   Mass of Christian Burial was held in Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling.
   Burial was in the St. Stephen’s Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
Horace W. Jaeger

   HAMILTON — Horace W. Jaeger, 77, died Aug. 7 at home.
   Born in Trenton, he was a lifelong area resident.
   He retired after 15 years as a superintendent with Lenox Co., Trenton and had been a bartender at Buckley’s Tavern, Yardville.
   An Army veteran of World War II, he received three Bronze Stars. He was a member of VFW Post 3525.
   Son of the late William H. and Rose Kopp Jaeger, husband of the late Carol Stoop Jaeger, and brother of the late Rose Higgins, Lillian Stevenson and Gladys Delate, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Nicholas LaBella of Shamong; a brother and sister-in-law, William "Buddy" and Shirley Jaeger of Bordentown Township; a sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Robert Applegate of Toms River; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Jason and Katelyn LaBella; and stepgrandchildren.
   The funeral was held at Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel.
   Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.

Wishart Jones

   UPPER FREEHOLD — Marion E. Wishart Jones, 83, died Aug. 8 at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton.
   Born in Cream Ridge, she was a lifelong resident.
   She was a homemaker.
   She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Edward Jones; three daughters, Helen Helmuth and Marie Miller, both of Cookstown, and Carolyn Nicholas of New Egypt; a son, Lucius Wishart of Cookstown; a sister, Peggy Inman, a brother, Bernard Nutt, both of New Egypt; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held at Tilghman Funeral Home, New Egypt, with the Rev. Horace Frantz officiating.
   Burial was in Emley’s Hill Cemetery, Cream Ridge.
Victoria Boruta

Chrzanowski

   TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Victoria Boruta Chrzanowski died Aug. 4 at Jess Parish Medical Center.
   Born in Trenton, she lived in Yardville before moving to Florida 20 years ago.
   She retired from the Heinemann Electric Co.
   Daughter of the late Joseph and Agatha Boruta, wife of the late Leon Chrzanowski and sister of the late Peter and Henry Boruta and Frances Higgins, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Frances Chrzanowski of Hightstown and Joseph and Mary Chrzanowski of Titusville, Fla.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph Boruta of Bordentown and Victor and Lydia Borua of Robbinsville; a sister and brother-in-law, Helen and Jim Scheideler of Princeton Junction; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated.
   Burial was in Florida.
Thora S. Bonnell

   MONROE — Thora S. Bonnell, 94, died Aug. 10 at Monroe Village.
   Born in Montclair, she lived in Allentown and Rossmoor before moving to Monroe Village in 1997.
   Mrs. Bonnell graduated from Northwestern University School of Music in Evanston, Ill., and was a member of the Lambda Chapter of Delta Omicron International Music Fraternity.
   She was a member of the board of deacons of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury and a former member of Allentown Villagers, the American Red Cross board of directors, Contemporary Woman’s Club of Trenton and the Haddonfield Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.
   She was a longtime volunteer with Walson Army Hospital, Fort Dix.
   Daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine Kraner Simons and wife of the late John C. Bonnell, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, John C. Jr. and Barbara Bonnell of Chesapeake, Va., and W. Robert and Teresa Bonnell of Hightstown; a daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Paul Colletti of Edgewater Park; a son-in-law, Dewayne Guhn of Columbus; a brother-in-law, James Monroe Bonnell and his wife, Caroline, of Bradenton, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
   The funeral was held at Peppler Funeral Home, Allentown, with the Rev. Karl Guln officiating.
   Burial was in Allentown Presbyterian Cemetery.
   Memorial contributions may be made any chapter of the Humane Society of the United States.
Albert C. Grove

   HAMILTON — Albert C. Grove, 67, died Aug. 9 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
   Born in Bordentown, he was a lifelong area resident.
   He had been director of buildings and grounds at The Princeton Medical Center, Rider University and PNC of Philadelphia.
   He was a member of Bordentown Elks Lodge 2085 and was the parade float driver for Crescent Temple String Band.
   He is survived by his wife, Arline L. McCue Grove; two brothers, George of Bordentown and Walter of Ship Bottom; a sister, Mae Lindsay of Stockton; his father-in-law, Howard K. McCue of Bordentown Township; and nieces and nephews.
   Graveside services were held at Groveville Methodist Cemetery with the Rev. George Gibbs officiating.

Ella Mae Hance

   WRIGHTSTOWN — Ella Mae Hance, 78, died Aug. 11 at Rancocas Hospital, Willingboro.
   Born in Chesterfield, she was a lifelong area resident.
   She retired as a waitress from Crossroads Diner in Wrightstown.
   Mrs. Hance was a member of Young at Heart Senior Citizens of Cookstown, Cookstown Senior Citizens and Wrightstown Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
   Wife of the late Elwood "Bill" Hance, she is survived by a daughter, Beverly Hance of Wrightstown; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Roberta Hance of Bordentown; a sister-in-law, Marion Hance of New Egypt; an aunt, Edith Davis Dempster of Florida; two nephews, Roger and David Hance of New Egypt; and two cousins, Robert Davis of Mount Holly and Esther Clark of Florida.
   The funeral will be noon on Aug. 16 at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., New Egypt, with the Rev. Horace Frantz officiating.
   Burial will be in Jacobstown Cemetery.
   Calling hours will be 10 a.m. until service at the funeral home.
Barbara Hammerschmidt

   EWING — Barbara J. Hammerschmidt, 51, died Aug. 10 at Ewing Nursing Home.
   Born in Trenton, she lived in Vermont for four years before recently moving back to the area.
   She graduated from Rider University and was a sales representative for Proctor & Gamble for many years.
   Daughter of the late Stephen Wolfsgruber Jr., she is survived by a daughter, Meggan Leigh Hammerschmidt; and a son, Kyle Hammerschmidt, both of Lawrenceville; her mother, Irene Wolfsgruber of Ewing; a sister, Patricia Musial of Allentown; four brothers and two sisters-in-law, James and Barbara Wolfsgruber of Hamilton, David and Dawn Wolfsgruber of Hamilton, Stephen Wolfsgruber III of Ewing and Michael Wolfsgruber of Bordentown.
   The funeral will be 10 a.m. on Aug. 16 at Incarnation Roman Catholic Church, 1545 Pennington Road.
   Burial will be in St. Hedwig Cemetery.

Joseph A. Huryn

   BEVERLY — Joseph A. Huryn, 82, died Aug. 12 at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.
   Born in Burlington, he was a lifelong area resident.
   He was a molder with Barnett Foundry in Irvington for 30 years before retiring in 1970.
   Following retirement, Mr. Huryn worked with Beverly National Cemetery and Buttonwood Hospital, New Lisbon.
   He was a member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church.
   He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the National Rifle Association and Disabled Veterans.
   Husband of the late Adele Cieciezynski Huryn, he is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson of Bordentown, Adele L. Huryn of Beverly, Cecilia and James Stayton of Willingboro and Marian and Dale Armstrong of Beverly; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph F. and Denise Huryn of Beverly, Martin T. of Beverly and Victor and Marietta Huryn of Beverly; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Nellie Huryn of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. on Aug. 16 in St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 805 Warren St.
   Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
   Calling hours will be 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 16 at Page Funeral Home, 302 E. Union St., Burlington.
Joseph Klein

   BURLINGTON CITY — Joseph "Josh" Klein, 76, died Aug. 13 at home.
   Born in Columbus, he was a longtime resident before moving to Burlington two years ago.
   Mr. Klein played baseball for the Philadelphia Athletics minor league team in the 1940s.
   He retired in 1986 from Sherwatt’s Wire Co. of Mansfield Township, Pa., and had previously worked with Sharp’s farm in Columbus and Thiokol Chemical in Trenton.
   He enjoyed baseball and bowling.
   He is survived by two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara and Frank Jackson of Burlington City and Peggy Lamb of Atlanta; two nephews, Bill and Chris Jackson; and other relatives.
   The funeral will be 11 a.m. on Aug. 16 at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown, with the Rev. Neill Tolboom officiating.
   Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery.
   Calling hour will be 10 a.m. until service at the funeral home.
Clifton Leroy

Chapman

   WILLINGBORO — Clifton Leroy "Cliff" Chapman, 65, died Aug. 7.
   Born in Florence, he lived in Trenton more than 40 years before moving to Willingboro.
   He attended Florence public schools and was a staff sergeant with the Air Force.
   Mr. Chapman worked with the General Motors Corp., Ewing, and had been a technologist with the New York Blood Center. He retired as a cook from Trenton State College.
   He enjoyed spending time with family.
   Son of the late Elmo Chapman and Evelyn E. Chapman-Wright, he is survived by his wife, Marion Askew-Chapman; a son, Todd Clifton Chapman of Willingboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula Annette Chapman-Council and Jesse Council of Burlington Township; four grandchildren, Tamika Chapman-Smith of Willingboro, Joshua Chapman of Ewing and Kyle and Camille Council of Burlington Township; a great-grandson, McKhy Smith of Willingboro; a sister, Patricia James of Willingboro; a brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Bernard and Letilla Chapman of Ewing; a sister-in-law, Elaine B. Chapman of Trenton; an aunt, Estelle Dobbins of Willingboro; other relatives; and friends.
   The funeral was held at St. Paul Baptist Church, Fifth and Eyre streets, Florence, with the Rev. Barbara Brewer officiating.
   Burial was in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington.
   Arrangements were by Hughes Funeral Home, Trenton.
