For the Record

Police officers from the Spotswood and Milltown police departments were among the many from Middlesex County departments deployed to New York City to assist police forces there after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. The Spotswood officers included patrolmen John Pfeiffer, Edward Schapley and Brian Keenan. The Milltown officers included Chief Ray Geipel, Sgt. Doug Cole and Patrolman Brian Knelle.
