DOROTHY J. FISHER, 78, of Middletown died Oct. 10 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Schenectady, N.Y., she lived in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., prior to moving to Middletown. She was a retired secretary and clerk for Southern Bell, Fort Lauderdale, for 35 years. She is survived by her brother, Alfred Neuschafer of Pennsylvania; and two grandsons, David Bradford Schardien and Steven Michael Schardien. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

KENNETH BOZEMAN, 36, of Middletown died Oct. 11 in Middletown. Born in Cantonment, Fla., he resided in Atlantic Highlands prior to moving to Middletown one year ago. He was a project supervisor for Pavarini Construction, New York, for one year. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was predeceased by his parents, Wallace Bozeman and Frances Baker. He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Lalley of Middletown; three brothers, Gerald Bozeman of Japan, Richard Bozeman of Cantonment, Fla., and Lamar Bozeman of Orlando, Fla.; and his fiancee, Christine Lalley of Middletown. Burial was in Florida.

DANIEL F. EVERNHAM, 82, of the Belford section of Middletown died Oct. 11 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. He was born in the Cliffwood Beach section of Aberdeen. He was a retired mason for the Mason’s Union Local No. 472, Newark. He was a member of the Belford United Methodist Church. He was predeceased by his brother, Walter Evernham, in 1975. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Doris E. King Evernham of Belford; four sons, Gerald C. Evernham of Middletown, George C. Evernham of Nashville, N.C., and Daniel F. Evernham Jr. and James G. Evernham, both of Middletown; three daughters, Doris Ulmer and Mary D. Huntington, both of Nashville, N.C., and Tina Matthews of Jackson; 18 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Burial was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

MARY A. KETCHOW, 85, of Middletown died Oct. 11 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Newark, she taught at St. Mary’s Grammar School, New Monmouth section of Middletown. Prior to that, she was a social studies teacher for Middle Road School, Hazlet, where she taught for 20 years. She also founded the Port Monmouth Marina in 1950 with her husband. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, New Monmouth, where she also taught CCD workshops for men and women for 19 years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a delegate of the National Girl Scouts of America for several years and was chairman of the St. Mary’s "Over 50" seniors program. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, John Ketchow, in 1984. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn J. and John Wallace of Brick; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard G. and Roseann Ketchow of Atlantic Highlands; and four grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, followed by burial at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, N.J. MAGDALENE "MIDGE" V. MADISON, 90, of Middletown died Oct. 11 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in West New York, she resided in several county towns prior to moving to Middletown. She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church, Long Branch. She was also the church’s financial recording secretary and member of its Duo Club and bell choir. She was a retired secretary for the River Plaza School, Middletown, for 10 years. She taught German at the Red Bank Senior Center and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy M. Madison Sr., in 1992, and her brother, Harold Weber. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roy M. and Joan Madison Jr. of Oceanport, and Peter E. Madison and Lorraine Skidmore of Princeton; three sisters, Violet Schmitt and Kitty Welch, both of Arizona, and Marie Rotkewicz of Middletown; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. DONAL O’SULLIVAN, 55, of Middletown died Oct. 2 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Born in Dublin, Ireland, he moved to the United Sates in 1977 and lived in Staten Island, N.Y., before moving to Middletown two years ago. He was an electrician with the state of New Jersey for the past year. He was a member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Colleen O’Sullivan of Middletown; two daughters, Christina and Maggie O’Sullivan; six brothers; two sisters; and his mother, Christina O’Sullivan of Ireland. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church, Red Bank. Interment was at Fair View Cemetery, Middletown.

MAXINE V. HARKINS GENTILE, 84, of Matawan died Oct. 12 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. Born in New York, she lived in Ocean Grove before moving to Matawan eight years ago. She was a purchasing manager for Dunn and Bradstreet Inc., New York, for 25 years, retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Gentile in 1989. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Florentine of Matawan, and Maxine Jordan of Arizona; two sons, Daniel Gentile of Interlaken, and Donald Gentile of Arizona; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass was held at St. Clement’s Roman Catholic Church, Matawan.

RUTH HART, 83, of the Belford section of Middletown died Oct. 13 at home. Born in Raritan Township, she lived in Keyport for 38 years and moved to Belford 45 years ago. She was a retired saleswoman for Neisners Brothers, Middletown, for 20 years. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, John R. Hart, in 1990. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law, Barbara and Keith Hackenberg of the Leonardo section of Middletown, and Ruth Ann Kuleba of Belford, with whom she lived; her sister, Hazel Feick of Keyport; her sister-in-law, Helen Collins of Keyport; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Oct. 17 at 10:30 a.m. at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown followed by burial at Shoreland Memorial Park, Hazlet.
