The Monmouth Regional High School Basketball program is holding Late Night Basketball Madness on Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. to celebrate the beginning of the 2001-2002-basketball season. This fund-raiser is open to all basketball fans and will feature the second practice of the season for both the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams, contests for the fans and appearances by both the Monmouth Regional High School cheerleaders and the Pep Band.

Basketball Madness will give the fans an opportunity to meet the players of both varsity teams, hear the music of the Pep Band and see the dancing of the cheerleading squad. The teams will compete against each other in basketball skills competitions like foul shooting, three point shooting, ball handling and slam-dunk. The teams will also participate in a co-ed scrimmage between the two varsity teams.

This event is being held in the Monmouth Regional gym and is open to the general public with tickets costing $1 for students and $2 for adults. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.
