Tony Racioppi, a Red Bank Regional graduate and junior quarterback at Rowan University, Glassboro, continued his excellent season Nov. 24, leading his team to a second-round NCAA championship tournament win over visiting Western Connecticut State, 43-14.

Racioppi was 19-38 for 268 yards and three touchdowns. His longest TD pass was 86 yards to wide receiver Al Beverly. He also rushed for 55 yards and had a touchdown with a three-yard carry.

This season, Racioppi was named the N.J. Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was named to the All-Conference first team.
