In what appears to be the most difficult retail environment in a decade, "Thank you" to all the fine people who came out to patronize the local small businesses during this holiday season.
Because of your effort, the "little specialty shops" may have fared far better than was to be expected. The outcome to this scenario may have been quite different if it had not been for the willingness of those patrons to support the American dream.
