NJAWBO chapters to host business expo

The Monmouth Chapter of the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) has announced the southern region conference "2002 Let NJAWBO Work for You" to be held March 15 at 5:30 p.m. The conference will be at the Renault Winery, 72 N. Bremen Ave., Egg Harbor City.

The conference will be hosted by the Monmouth, tri-county, and Atlantic chapters. It will be a "mini-business expo," to include networking, cocktails, dinner and a special program. Guest speaker will be U.S. Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo.

Cost is $45 for members and $50 for nonmembers, and reservation deadline is Feb. 28. For more information, call Janet B. Smith at (609) 822-4981.

Seminar for homesellers at Sea Bright library

Sales associate Gloria Benaroch of Coldwell Banker, Rumson, will host a seminar for homesellers Feb. 25, 7:30 p.m. at the Sea Bright Library, 1097 E. Ocean Ave.

Benaroch and fellow associate Pauline Poyner will discuss topics such as inspections, new laws, and mold’s relationship to certain health problems.

Red Bank Chapter of Deborah installs officers

The Red Bank Chapter of Deborah Hospital Foundation recently held its installation of officers at Squires Court, West Long Branch. Installed as president was Mary G. Powell. The new slate of officers for 2002 was also installed. Powell will succeed Kathie Lindmar, who has moved out-of-state.

NJSBA installs officers, directors for 2002

The New Jersey Shore Builders Association (NJSBA) recently celebrated the installation of its officers and directors for 2002. Installed as president was Arvo Prima, Toms River.

Elected to the board of directors for 2002 were local businessmen Lou Bianchini of the Kalian Corporation, Red Bank; and Glenn Meisse of Robertson Douglas Group, Eatontown.

The NJSBA is comprised of residential builders and associate members representing a variety of disciplines, which relates to the home-building industry.
