Monmouth County transit map now available

The Monmouth County Board of Freeholders and the Monmouth County Planning Board have announced the release of the Monmouth County transit map.

The 24-by-34-inch map folds into 3.75- by-7.5-inch pocket size, and is a source for most NJ Transit and private bus, ferry, commuter rail, park-and-ride and senior and disabled transportation services in the county.

The map overlays regional and local public transportation routes on a complete and to-scale street system map of the county. Detailed inset maps show the county’s urbanized areas with transit routes and street-by-street stops using aerial photo images.

The back of the map features panels and tables, including a town-by-town transit trip planner, detailed station and terminal information, locations of official bus and auto park-and-rides, access maps to the county’s many ferry terminals, and information for new residents and riders.

For more information or a copy of the map, call the Monmouth County Planning Board at (732) 431-7460.
