Quick delivery models ready for buyers at Country Classics

One of the homes — a Charleston selling for $637,500 — is a 4,000-square-foot model with full brick front with quoins, circular staircase in the foyer, sunken family room with vaulted ceiling, first-floor study and second-floor bonus room.

There’s no place like home; apparently that’s the sentiment felt in Somerset County’s Hillsborough Township, where five new home buys at The Estates at Country Classics have bought new construction in their own hometown. All five are move-up buyers; two, in fact, are repeat Country Classics homeowners.
Built by the Van Cleef family, a local new-home construction firm, The Estates at Country Classics, when completed, will include 14 homes on one-acre lots. There are two cul-de-sacs in the tract, which is adjacent to the established Country Classics community. With a price range from $605,000 to $659,500, these homes are sized from 3,350 to 4,200 square feet. All homes have city sewers and public water. Roads have been recently paved, so prospective buyers can drive through the new community.
The Van Cleefs enjoy a very positive reputation in central New Jersey as builders of well-crafted homes and business professionals with an excellent track record for customer service. Their homes do exceptionally well in the resale market, adding increased value to the homeowner’s investment dollars. Currently, they have a subdivision, Country Classics at Dutchtown, under way in Montgomery Township. Within the past year they have sold out their Hopewell and Flemington locations.

The Classic Doulton model

is now available for quick delivery at Country Classics at Hillsborough. In addition, The Estates at Country
Classics is offering two quick delivery homes which are due to be completed soon.

Now that the roads are paved within The Estates, people can drive through the established Country Classics at Hillsborough neighborhood. Over the past 13 years, the Van Cleefs have built over 400 new homes in this subdivision. Prospective buyers can see the neighborhood homes in various styles and color combinations. They also have the opportunity to view the two fully decorated models at the Hillsborough location.
What keeps Hillsborough residents wanting to relocate right within their own town? The schools, no doubt, are a major factor. The concept of "neighborhood school" was never more exemplified than with Amsterdam Elementary School. It’s within walking distance of all Country Classics homes. After elementary school, students attend the Hillsborough Middle School, a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon school. The newly expanded state-of-the-art high school offers technologically advanced facilities to township students.
The township’s extensive sports traditions are also a big attraction to families. The high school sponsors the traditional sports, such as baseball, soccer, golf, football, softball, basketball, cross country and lacrosse, along with swimming, wrestling, field hockey, volleyball and winter track. In addition, the township’s recreation program encompasses scores of activities and sports. Youngsters can also participate in Little League, Pop Warner, Jr. Raiders, YMCA, Roycefield Swim Club and many local band and choir organizations. For the avid golfer, Roycefield Golf Club is only minutes away from The Estates at Country Classics.
Quick access to major highways allows Hillsborough residents to easily commute to the Princeton corridor, Central Jersey corporate parks, Northern New Jersey and New York. In town are several shopping areas that include the township’s own movie theater. Bridgewater Commons Mall is only 15 minutes away, as is the outlet shopping at Flemington.
Besides the location, homeowners are repeat buyers, because of the quality of the construction. A key factor is the caliber of home products used in building the homes. They include 12-course block basements, fir plywood nailed and glued flooring, GPI flooring system, plywood roof and sidewalls, Andersen windows, Trane heating and central air conditioning, and GAF Timberline roofing.
Enhancing the look of The Estates at Country Classics are the 9-foot first floor ceilings, three-car garages, masonry fireplaces, pre-finished hardwood flooring in the living and dining rooms, Jacuzzi Sigma 5 garden soaking tub in the master bath, ceramic tiled bathrooms, GE appliances, 42-inch kitchen cabinetry, six-panel interior doors, Moen plumbing fixtures, vaulted ceiling in the master bath, and crownmolding and chair railing in the dining room.
While five homes have sold, the Van Cleefs also are constructing two Quick Delivery Homes with a projected completion dates of May and June 2002. These homes are built with the relocating executive in mind, and especially those who want to move in before the start of the new school year.
One of the homes under construction is a Charleston, a 4,000-square-foot model with full brick front with quoins, circular staircase in the foyer, sunken family room with vaulted ceiling, first-floor study and second-floor bonus room. This particular model sells for $637,500.
Also under construction is a Classic Doulton III, a charming 3,851-square-foot home priced at $643,500, which includes a covered, wrap-around porch, two-story foyer, spacious sitting room off the master bedroom, a convenient first-floor study and bay window in the breakfast area.
In addition, one Quick Delivery Home, the Classic Doulton I, is available at Country Classics at Hillsborough. Located at 117 Labaw Court in a cul-de-sac and slated for a May 2002 delivery, this 3,725-square-foot home is priced at $589,000.
