Russell "Jake" Mastrangelo, 67, died Tuesday, April 9, at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Old Bridge Division.
He was born in Lackawanna, N.Y., and lived in Iselin before moving to Monmouth Junction two years ago.
He was employed as a barber at Vito Mazza Hair Styling in Woodbridge. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
His daughter, Lisa Mastrangelo, died in 1997.
He is survived by his wife, the former Pauline Snyder; two daughters, Phyllis McNulty of North Brunswick and Rose Stevens of Monmouth Junction; a son, Joseph Mastrangelo of Edison and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick. Cremation will be private and at the convenience of the family.
