Robert Britt

   HILLSBOROUGH — Robert M. Britt died Sunday, April 21, in Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack. He was 54.
   Born in Ashland, Pa., he resided in Manville for 20 years before moving to Hillsborough two years ago.
   Mr. Britt had been a pharmaceutical operator with Hoechst-Celanese Corporation in Bridgewater for 26 years.
   He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
   He was a member of the Thomas J. Kavanaugh Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2290 in Manville.
   He caddied at Raritan Valley Country Club in Raritan, Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough, and Hamilton Farms in Bedminster.
   His father, Robert Britt, died in 1985.
   Surviving are his wife, Mary J. (Weldlich) Britt; a son Russell of Manville; his mother Estelle (Standcock) Britt of Bridgewater; a brother Joseph of Whitehouse Station; two sisters, Lorraine Britt of Raritan, and Colleen Pranzatelli of Bridgewater.
   Funeral services are being held at 10 a.m. today, from the Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, Manville with Fr. Anthony of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church in Three Bridges officiating. Burial will be in New Cemetery in Somerville.
