Herbert Seransky

   Herbert Seransky, 74, died Tuesday, May 7, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
   He was born in Newark and had lived in Perth Amboy and Edison before moving to Monroe three years ago.
   Mr. Seransky had owned and operated South Amboy Auto Parts in South Amboy.
   He was a member of Congregation Adath Israel in Woodbridge. He belonged to the Men’s Club at Adath Israel, and was a member of the Men’s Club at The Ponds in Monroe and a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge 44 in Perth Amboy and B’Nai Brith.
   He is survived by his loving wife, Muriel (Barshay) Seransky of Monroe; two daughters, Sivi Turkish and her husband, Andrew, of Marlboro and Joy Abrams of Colonia; a son, Roy Seransky and his wife, Kelly, of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and a brother, Seymour Seransky of Edison. He also leaves behind four grandchildren, David Abrams, Brandon Turkish, Sarah and Jacob Seransky.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 8, at Goldstein Funeral Chapel in Edison. Burial followed at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
