Robert A. Gilbert

   EAST WINDSOR — Robert A. Gilbert, 63, died April 21 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
   Born in the Bronx, N.Y., he lived in East Windsor 28 years.
   Mr. Gilbert owned Texstyler International, a fabric design library catering to home furnishings and men’s and women’s apparel. He owned the company, located in New York City, for 40 years.
   He was a member of Congregation Beth Chaim.
   Son of the late Pauline Gilbert, he is survived by his wife, Barbara Lederman Gilbert; a son, Douglas Evan Gilbert of East Windsor; a daughter, Jennifer Lynn Gilbert of Denver; his father and stepmother, Aaron and Ann Gilbert of Boca Raton, Fla.; a brother, Jonathan of Bethesda, Md.; a sister-in-law and her husband, Caroline and Robert Kanner of Manalapan; a niece, Samantha Viall; and a nephew, Howard Kanner.
   Funeral was April 26 at Congregation Beth Chaim with Rabbi Eric Wisnia and Cantor Stuart Binder officiating.
   Burial was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
