Elizabeth Ann Kinsey, 70, of Kendall Park, died Wednesday, May 1, at her residence.
Born in North Brunswick, Ms. Kinsey was a 1949 graduate of North Brunswick High School and received the Governor’s Scholarship upon graduation. She received her bachelor of arts degree in education from Douglas College and was working toward her master’s degree at Rutgers Graduate School for two years before becoming ill.
Ms. Kinsey was a junior high school teacher in both New Brunswick and North Brunswick, retiring in 1975 after 12 years of service.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Kinsey; her son, John E. Kinsey of Hainesport; two daughters, Jo Ann E. Earl of South Brunswick and Kathleen B. Remsa of Mount Laurel; a brother, George Caspers of Somerset and nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Joe, Allison, Kevin, Tanya, Kristen, Mark, Jonathan and Alexandra.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 4, at Community Presbyterian Church of the Sand Hills in Kendall Park, with the Rev. George Betz officiating.
