MANVILLE Margaret Shedlosky Portanova died Sunday, May 5, in Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. She was 60.
Born in New York City, she lived in Manville before moving to Dunellen in 1989.
Mrs. Portanova was employed at Microwave Semiconductor Corp. in Somerset for 15 years.
She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Clark.
Her first husband, Leonard "Whitey" Shedlosky, died in 1986.
Survivors include her second husband, Robert Portanova; three daughters, Doreen Vallone of Somerville, Karen Shedlosky and Leann Batson of Hampton; two sons, Brian of Marlton and Matthew of Washington, D.C.; a sister, Irma Oster of Swedesboro; one brother, Charles Buda of Middlesex; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held May 9, from Sheehan Funeral Home, Dunellen. Burial was in New Cemetery, Somerville.
