West Windsor hosts Community Festival on Saturday

   WEST WINDSOR — Tired of the same old weekend activities? Then stop over Saturday at Community Park on Route 571 for the township’s Community Festival.
   From 2 p.m. until dark, there will be all kinds of free activities and entertainment.
   For the youngsters, there will be inflatable rides including a Moon Bounce and Giant Slide, free trackless train and pony rides along with a free temporary-tattoo booth and other carnival booths with prizes.
   Other family members can get involved with activities such as sack races, tug of war, dance contests and hula hoop contests.
   As for entertainment, the Sweet Adelines will perform from 4 to 4:30 p.m. and the Mahony Brothers will be performing their "Legends of Rock and Roll" revue from 7 to 9 p.m.
   There will also be plenty of food, exhibits by community organizations and crafters and vendors selling their wares.
   The event is expected to conclude with a fireworks show, sponsored by McCaffrey’s market. The rain date for the Community Festival is Sunday.
