Mae Seaman

   Mae Russell Seaman, 94, died Thursday, May 16, at Chandler Hall Health Services in Newtown, Pa.
   Born in Bridgeport, Conn., she lived in Ewing many years before moving to Lawrence in 1976.
   Mrs. Seaman and her late husband, Walter, founded Fountain Lawn Memorial Park in Ewing. She also retired after many years as a secretary for Grand Masonic Lodge in Trenton.
   Mrs. Seaman was a founding member of Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, where she was an elder and former choir member. She was a longtime member of Ashlar Chapter 169 Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Victory Chapter 96.
   She was a member of Lawrence Senior Citizens and a former member of several local business organizations.
   Daughter of the late George and Wilhelmina Laufer Russell and wife of the late Walter Xavier Seaman, she is survived by a daughter, Joy Mae Rosten of New York City; three sons and daughters-in-law, Theodore X. and Connie Seaman of Bartlesville, Okla., Richard R. and Lucy Seaman of Las Vegas and Bruce D. and Shirley Seaman of Lawrence; a sister, Ruth Edgerton of Bridgeport, Conn.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, with the Rev. Nina Peck Reeder, pastor of Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church, officiating.
   Burial will be in Fountain Lawn Memorial Park.
   Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Monday, May 20, at the funeral home.
