Volunteers needed for ‘Bridges’ June 5
Volunteers are needed to sort clothing for the Holmdel Community Church "Bridges" program, June 5 at 7 p.m. at the church at 40 Main St. Donations of brown bag lunches are also sought, and may be dropped off at fellowship hall.
Clothing and lunches will then be distributed to the homeless in New York City, June 7. Lunches should consist of a sandwich, drink (preferably a juice pack), chips or cookies, a piece of soft fruit, and a small note to the recipient.
The church’s "Children’s Day" will be June 9 at 10 a.m., and will feature children participating in all aspects of the worship service.

Church to honor pastor at luncheon June 16
St. Benedict’s Church, Holmdel, will honor its pastor, the Rev. William C. Anderson, as he celebrates the 50th anniversary of his ordination June 16 from 1-5 p.m.
The event will be at the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel. Tickets are $50, $25 for youths ages 13-18, and $12.50 for children age 12 and younger.
