Aberdeen Township will hold Aberdeen Day June 1 from noon-5 p.m. at the athletic fields at Matawan Regional High School, Atlantic Avenue, Aberdeen (rain or shine).
The free event will feature performances by ’50s singing groups, The Wathington Brothers and The Party Dolls, a dance demonstration by A Touch of Dance, Matawan, and a karate demonstration by Bryan Klein’s Tae Kwon Do Academy, Matawan.

Rummage Room sale
The Women’s Society of the Matawan United Methodist Church, 478 Atlantic Ave., Aberdeen, will hold its Rummage Room sale June 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch will be served, and there will be a table of homemade baked goods for sale.
