Ferry captains and crews from SeaStreak USA, and Andrew McGovern of the Sandy Hook Pilots were recently presented with Hero of the Harbor Awards by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The award, a life preserver, was given to McGovern on behalf of harbor pilots.
The awards were given at the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance’s biennial Waterfront Conference held in Hoboken.
