Howell-Jackson Knights to hold blood drive

The Howell-Jackson Knights of Col-umbus Council 6201 will be conducting a blood drive on June 7 from 5-9 p.m. at the council home, 401 Bartley Road, Jackson. This drive is open to the public. Summer Gospel event seeking talented youth

The fourth Summer Gospel Youth Explosion is slated to take place on Aug. 31 from 2-8 p.m. at the Lake Carasaljo amphitheater, North Lake Drive, Lake-wood. Young talented people are being sought to share their talents. All young people who are singers, steppers, rappers, musicians, dancers or members of a youth choir are invited to audition. Men’s fellowship to be held in Lakewood

Spirit-Filled Life Ministries is sponsoring a men’s fellowship June 15, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Lakewood library. The fellowship will begin with a free continental breakfast from 9-10 a.m. followed by speaker the Rev. James Hayes from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. An afternoon session will feature the Rev. Soap opera satire

Proteus Productions will present a comedy by playwright Steven Michelson about two women and a soap opera star whose paths cross. The show will be held May 31, and June 1, 7 and 8 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre, 6545 Route 9 north, Howell. Sun-day matinee June 2. Dessert served 30 minutes before the show. Registration slated for Tiny Tots Program

Registration for Howell recreation’s Tiny Tots program will take place June 10-14 at the Howell recreation building between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Tiny Tots session will be held July 8 through Aug. 9, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

The Tiny Tots program gives 3- to 5-year-olds an opportunity to socialize with other children. The program includes story time, play time, sing-alongs, arts and crafts, and other fun activities. The fee is $25 for this five-week session at the recreation building. Proof of residency and a copy of the child’s birth certificate must be presented at time of registration.
