Foundation’s denial comes as no surprise

   I am disappointed, but not surprised, that the Lawrence Township Community Foundation has denied a grant to a local boy scout troop to buy a trailer.
   Why do we punish children for the actions of adults? If you are angry about the national council’s policy, fight it at the proper level; why punish the kids in the local troops?
   I plan to make a contribution to Troop 27 to help them buy the trailer, and hope others will, too.
