To the editor:
We, as Democratic councilmen of Hightstown Borough, hereby endorsee Amy I. Aughenbaugh as our candidate for mayor in the June 4 Democratic Party primary election. Mayor Aughenbaugh’s leadership, team-building and dedication to this community warrant this endorsement and we ask that you vote Aughenbaugh for mayor on June 4.
During her first term as mayor, Ms. Aughenbaugh has established a collective team on the council and the Planning Board that is working together to bring results to the people of Hightstown, delivering action behind all the talk. Our downtown revitalization has finally become a reality under her administration and we pledge to continue to work alongside our mayor to not only bring this first phase forward, but to also strategize our next steps and to continue to produce results. We are a team that delivers and we ask that you keep our team together with Mayor Aughenbaugh at the helm to continue to produce results.
We will be casting our votes for Amy I. Aughenbaugh for our Democratic candidate for Mayor and we ask that all Hightstown Democratic and party-unaffiliated voters to please remember to vote on June 4 alongside us. We need your vote for Mayor Aughenbaugh to help us to continue our progress.
