The Deacons Food Cupboard is at the Presbyterian Church in Jamesburg, and it has provided food to needy families for many years.
Food is distributed by appointment on a monthly basis and whenever needed in emergencies.
It exists primarily due to generous contributions of food, time and money from both residents and local businesses in Jamesburg and surrounding communities.
However, presumably resulting from the events of 9/11, donations have been extremely low and the need for food has increased.
Donations are especially needed at this time.
The church welcomes all kinds of donations.
