Leslie McPherson of Colts Neck and Elena Pappas of Jackson were the joint recipients of a first-place biology award presented by Georgian Court College, Lakewood. Information regarding the award winners was unclear in the May 30 issue of the Tri-Town News. Also, Pappas was the sole recipient of the Ocean County section of the American Chemical Society Award in chemistry and biochemistry.
