CHARLES HARTOBEY SR., 71, of South River and Arizona died May 31 at home. Surviving are a son, Charles Hartobey of South River; a daughter, Donna Zereconski of South Plainfield; a sister-in-law, Katie Hartobey of Piscataway; six grandchildren; and his companion, Carole Roy of Mesa, Ariz. JAMES J. KELLY JR., 67, of Seaside Park, formerly of Milltown, died June 2 at home. He was founder, president and chief executive officer of K-D Electrical Contractors, North Brunswick, for 24 years, retiring in 1995. His wife, Esther Smith Kelly, died in 1990, and a son, Brian Kelly, died in 1997. Surviving are two sons, James J. Kelly III of East Brunswick and Thomas A. Kelly of North Brunswick, and two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held June 6 at 9:15 a.m. at Crabiel Home for Funerals, Milltown. A liturgy will follow at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick. DOUGLAS KULESZA, 52, of East Brunswick died May 31 at home. Surviving are two daughters, Meaghan of Colorado and Heather of Texas; his parents, Lottie and Joseph Kulesza of East Brunswick; a sister, Kathleen Rubado of Massachusetts; and a grandson. Services were held at Rezem Funeral Home, East Brunswick. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick.

THERESA GALL MORROW, 84, of Spotswood died May 27 at her daughter’s home in Cranbury. Her husband, Harry E. Morrow, died in 1977, and a granddaughter, Allison Mott, died in 1983. Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Mott of Monroe and Darlene Brandt of Cranbury; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

FLORENCE WALAS SAKOWSKI, 75, of Sayreville died June 1 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Stanley Sakowski of Sayreville; a brother, Frank Walas Jr. of Germany; and four nieces, Dorothy Hagymasy of East Brunswick, Cynthia David of the Fords section of Woodbridge, Liese Anne Helpa-Batko of Sayreville and Stefanie of the Morganville section of Marlboro. JAMES CHARLES RONE JR., 47, of East Brunswick died June 3 in St. Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are a brother, Charles Rone of Jamesburg; a sister, Kathleen Brady of North Brunswick; a nephew; and four nieces. A Mass is planned for 10 a.m. on June 8 at Our Lady of Peace Church, North Brunswick. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

ESTELLE M. BLUMENTHAL WOHL, 76, of Monroe died June 1 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. A daughter, Rochelle Schneider, died in 1994. Surviving are her husband, Paul; two sons, Joseph of East Brunswick and David of Barnegat; a son-in-law, Joel Schneider of East Brunswick; and eight grandchildren. Services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Interment was in Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. JOSEPH A. GLADIC, 70, of Monroe died May 29 at home. Surviving are his wife, Eleanor Medvar Gladic; two daughters, Anita Stewart of Burlington and Deborah Gladic of South Amboy; two sisters, Anita Perhach of South Amboy and Gloria Commerton of Mississippi; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services were held at Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River. Entombment was in Cloverleaf Memorial Park Mausoleum, Woodbridge.

ALICE DIAZ TOSTE, 87, of Old Bridge died May 30 at home. Prior to her retirement, she was a housekeeper at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church rectory, Old Bridge. Her husband, Frank Toste, died in 1971. Surviving is a son, Frank Toste of Old Bridge. A Mass was offered at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick.

T. GILBERT FALLON of Old Bridge died May 27 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He served as an Old Bridge Township councilman from 1972-76, and was the first deputy mayor of Madison Township. He was Old Bridge Township Democratic municipal chairman for nine terms. Surviving are his wife, P. Janet Garbie Fallon; a son, Jeffrey; a daughter, Maria; a brother, Jerry Fallon; a sister, Elizabeth Wnek; and two grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Ambrose Church, Old Bridge. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or to the American Cancer Society.

EDWARD J. FOLDI, 62, of the Fords section of Woodbridge died May 29 in Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy division. A son, Edward Foldi, died in 1979. Surviving are his wife, Florence Walsh Foldi; two sons, James M. Foldi of Keyser, W.Va., and Daniel M. Foldi of Fords; a daughter, Sharon Stevens of South Amboy; his father, Michael Foldi of Fords; and two grandsons. Services were held at Gundrum Service Home for Funerals. South Amboy. Interment was in Christ Church Cemetery, also South Amboy.
