Applebee’s to open at Seaview Square Mall
Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, Seaview Square Mall, Ocean Township, will hold a benefit and grand opening June 17. The invitation-only event will benefit Ocean Township’s community celebration committee. Long Branch resident appointed to board
The New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters, Springfield, has installed its executive board for 2002-03. Appointed as secretary was North Long Branch resident Marilyn A. Van Sant. Van Sant is a broker representative for AmeriHealth, Iselin.
Greater Ocean Chamber of Commerce to meet
The Greater Ocean Township Chamber of Commerce will hold its quarterly business luncheon June 27 from noon-1:30 p.m. at Branches (formerly Squire’s Pub), 123 Monmouth Road, West Long Branch. Admission is $22 for nonmembers, $18 for members, and $5 extra for walk-ins. Guest speaker will be Pat Collins from WJLK 94.3FM "The Point." doctor joins Riverview
West Long Branch resident Paul A. Marquette, M.D., has joined the staff of Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. Marquette will be on staff in the center’s medicine/family practice department.
Local Realtor completes specialists course
Blanche Franks, a Realtor at Weichert, Realtors, Oakhurst, recently completed a specialized course conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of Realtors (NJAR).
The course is one in a series of professional education sequences required to qualify for certified residential specialist designation.
Lunch Break receives $1,105 donation
Lunch Break, Red Bank, recently received a $1,105 donation from the Schroth Center, Wanamassa. The center is a division of Cerebral Palsy of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
The funds were raised as part of the "New Jersey Empty Bowls Event" in which students, parents, teachers and community members joined together to prepare meals served in handmade bowls created by students and adult clients in art classes.
