Theodore Briggs Meriam
   Theodore Briggs Meriam, 83, died June 24 at Doylestown (Pa.) Hospital.
   Born in Cambridge, Mass., he lived in Verona before moving to Titusville more than 40 years ago.
   Mr. Meriam retired from the state Department of Human Services.
   He served with the Army Special Forces in Europe during World War II.
   He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Kittner Meriam; two sons, Kenneth and Thomas; and two daughters, Sally and Mary Lou.
   Memorial service was Friday at Titusville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating.
   Burial was private.

Sara Blackwell Durling
   Sara Blackwell Durling, 101, died June 26 at home. Born in Hopewell Township, she lived in Rocky Hill since 1926.
   She was a charter member of the Rocky Hill 76er’s and a former member of the Montgomery and Hopewell senior citizen groups.
   She was a 1922 graduate of Rider College and a member of First Reformed Church of Rocky Hill.
   Daughter of the late Ira and Catherine Blackwell, wife of the late Walter Durling and sister of the late Fred Blackwell and Lillian Wright, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Catherine Joyce and Edward Cranstoun of Hopewell Borough; a sister-in-law, Lillian Durling; two grandchildren, David Van Doren and wife Mary Anne and Karen Hinkson and husband Bill; six great-grandchildren, Amy, Kristen, Sara, Victoria, David and Andrew; a great-great-grandchild, Maria; and nieces and nephews.
   Funeral was Saturday at Cromwell Memorial Home, Hopewell.

William A. Blackwell
   William A. Blackwell, 85, died June 25. Formerly of Titusville, he moved to Fort Myers, Fla., 21 years ago.
   He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Louise; a son, William A. Blackwell Jr. of Jaffrey, N.H.; two daughters, Linda Windels of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Sharon Washburn of Wellesley Hills, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
   Private burial was in Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing.

Helene E. Weston
   Helene E. Weston, 84, died Friday at Tandem Health Care of Lawrenceville. Born in Scranton, Pa., she lived in Hopewell 33 years before moving to Lawrenceville.
   She was a homemaker and a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Lawrence.
   Wife of the late Donald Weston, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald Jr. and Carol Weston of Hopewell and Robert and Jean Weston of New Egypt; three sisters, Irene Marro of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Marge Prystosh and Sonia Romano of Scranton; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
   Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Ed Dougherty officiating.
   Burial was in Highland Cemetery, Hopewell.

Alfred Trimmer
   Alfred K. Trimmer, 63, died June 20 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.
   Born in Clover Hill, he lived in Milford and Pennington before moving to Seaside Heights in 1990.
   He worked with Luna Mar Hotel in Seaside Heights in facilities maintenance.
   He is survived by four sons, Kenneth Trimmer of Milford, Ricky Trimmer of Kingwood, Michael Trimmer of Seaside Heights and Mark Trimmer of Pennsylvania; a brother, Robert Trimmer of Flemington; a sister, Amelia Muchler of East Amwell; and eight grandchildren.
   The funeral was private.
