Participants sought for Millstone Day, Sept. 22
Millstone Township Recreation will sponsor a talent show to be presented during Millstone Day, Sept. 22, at Frogbridge Day Camp, Millstone.
Participation in the show is open to Millstone students entering grades 4-12 and of amateur status only.
There will be three categories — dance, vocal and instrumental — and three age groups, grades 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place in each category and age group.
Applications are available at the recreation office between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. and at the following locations: the Perrineville post office, Clarksburg post office, Lakeside Gourmet, Clarksburg General Store, Roy’s Deli, Millstone Family Health and Gifts, and Vesuvio’s Ristorante and Pizzeria. All applications must be postmarked no later than Aug. 22.
Millstone Day will also feature a car show with People’s Choice Awards and trophies awarded to the top three cars. Registration is open to the first 25 cars, and cars must arrive between 9-11 a.m. Voting will be conducted between noon and 4:30 p.m.
